About Rah

Rah is actually a shorthanded nickname that my family gave me. My name is Sarah, and my nickname is actually Rah-Rah. But I like being compared to Egyptian gods, so I shortened it down. Currently, I’m a 24-year-old college student with six years behind me in four different colleges; I’m engaged to the most wonderful man on Earth, Brian; unfortunately, we are currently moving back and forth between my parents’ house and his parents’ house because of financial strain; and I am 7 months pregnant with a baby girl, whose name is tentatively chosen as Aishlin Ruth.

My future goals include obtaining an English degree from my current college of choice, after which I hope to become an elementary school teacher through alternative programs. Ideally, I’d like to teach in Memphis, TN, through the Teach for America corps.

I’m a little quirky and I enjoy referring to myself in the third person on occasion. I enjoy writing, reading, drawing, learning new things, playing with my various and numerous critters, and being with my adorable fiance. Although I have made mistakes (and lots of them), I consider myself to be far different from peers of my age group. That said, I’ll let you get back to the blogs.
